Zoicite is the youngest general of the Dark Kingdom under Queen Beryl, assigned to find the seven rainbow crystals which would combine to form the Giuzinshou. He was trained by Kunzite and they later became lovers (anime only). His greatest fear in life is proving unworthy of his beloved Kunzaito-sama, whom he openly worships. However, Zoicite is kind of whiny, and one of the other generals, Nephrite, is constantly infringing on his territory and trying to usurp his responsibilities to make himself look good. Eventually Zoicite gets tired of it and takes advantage of a distraction (Naru) to kill him. In the North American dub, Zoicite was portrayed as a woman and the rivalry between him and Nephrite was biased so that it looked like Zoi was in the wrong.
